Meet The Band

Steve McOuan
Lead Vocals - Guitars
Steve started singing from a young age and was performing in musical theatre from the age of 13. He has been performing in a successful cover band for over 20 years and has played all over the UK and even enjoyed a stint as the resident band for the Edinburgh Playhouse.
Steve is a keen songwriter and has enjoyed success with his solo project which has saw him being recognised for his contribution to music in the local scene when he won the Dunfermline Press Community Award for Music 2019.

Steve is an avid Dunfermline FC supporter and back in 2006 In the light of the clubs financial issues, he penned a new Pars song. This was the first official club song since the Eastenders themed single back in 1984. The song featured the full squad, Jim Leishman and Scottish music royalty Big Country.

When he's not performing Steve enjoys running and competes in Ultra Marathons all over the UK.

Alfie Ramage
Lead Guitars - Backing Vocals
Alfie Ramage has been performing professionally live around Fife and latterly the UK since the age of 14.
His band Jupiter Strange has met critical acclaim and has been featured on BBC 6 music amongst others as well as playing round the country. His other main musical ventures include The Plastic Mac and TA.
Raised a classical violinist, he’s always had a love for soloist performance. That has now been focused to his guitar playing. An exciting and aggressive lead/slide guitarist, he’s been brought up worshipping the likes of Duane Allman and Eric Clapton.
From his bootcut jeans to his fringed jacket, he is a true cowboy at heart with a deep love for the music of The Eagles

Lewis Moncur
Lead Vocals - Lead Guitars
Born and bred in Dunfermline, Lewis has played guitar since starting High School whilst trying to get involved in as many gig opportunities and lessons through school as possible until finally breaking into Dunfermline's music scene.
Playing guitar and fronting multiple bands looking to reach out as far as possible. From playing school gigs to playing all over Scotland. After a lot of hard work, gigging and recording became the dream with local acclaimed band Between the Lines. Between The Lines gigged tirelessly every week and were soon playing all across Scotland and supported upcoming bands of many backgrounds and styles, whist trying to build their own following.

A love and interest for the Eagles has always been there for Lewis and he was very keen to join the Desperados fray.

Willie Winsborough
Bass Guitars - Backing Vocals
Willie is a seasoned self taught bassist of 30 years and has played in many great bands on the Fife circuit. Notably he served as bassist of renowned Fife rock covers band “Joe’s Band” from 2003 to 2019 and more recently The Police tribute band, “The Polis” as well as deputising in seasoned wedding bands. He first met Steve at one of the many legendary Sinky’s Jam Nights in Dunfermline back in the late 1990s and played a few local shows in Steve’s covers band. He has also been involved in various recording projects including former Nazareth frontman Linton Osborne’s album “Drunk At Breakfast”. Willie has a love for rock music and cites his musical influences as Rush, Pink Floyd, The Police and (of course) The Eagles. Outside of music, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kelley and two dogs, and is a keen vinyl record collector.

Richard Sharp
Drums - Percussion
Richard started his career in music at a noticeably young age, playing alongside his family in Country/ Bluegrass band Willow Creek.
With a clear passion for music, Richard decided to further study music at college.
Richard has toured with leading P!nk tribute band, 'Im Not Pink', playing festivals overseas and 02 Academies across the country.
In 2013, Richard joined the Band of Her Majestey's Royal Marines and has undergone an extensive amount of musical development with many career highlights. Richard has performed all over the world and at prestigious venues across the country including the Edinburgh Tattoo, Royal Albert Hall, Sage Gateshead and 02 Arena Newcastle.
Richard has shared the stage with many notable artists including support for Little Mix, Scouting for Girls, Bad Manners & Sophie Ellis-Bexter and playing percussion for Alfie Boe in Belgium as part of a WW1 commemoration. Richard has also had the opportunity to play alongside Tom Jones for the annual festival of remembrance in London.

Lorraine Mullen
Keys - Backing Vocals
Originally from Lanarkshire, classically trained Lorraine started playing piano aged 8. She has been playing in successful cover bands since the 1990’s and plays regularly on the Fife music scene.
Lorraine is also involved musically with the Cowdenbeath Community Theatre and is keyboard player for their annual Pantomime. Lorraine is a keen football fan and was recently awarded a B.E.M in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services during the Covid pandemic.

Mark Flintoft
Drums - Percussion
Originally from Moorsholm, near Whitby, Mark now calls himself a fully fledged Fifer. Mark's main influence's date from the 70s & 80’s and are as far reaching as David Bowie, Steely Dan, Level 42, Prince and of course the Eagles to name a few. Mark likes running in his spare time and drinking Scotland's national drink of choice Tennent's.
